All aboard! Passengers of all ages are invited to join us for a delightful narrated ride showcasing some of the Park’s most scenic locations. Enjoy spectacular views as you journey across the Sundial Bridge, pass alongside the picturesque Sacramento River, cross the charming Sulphur Creek Bridge, and explore tranquil paths through the beautiful Arboretum Loop filled with local flora.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. All riders aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Young children under 1 year old must remain on an adult's lap. The train departs from Domke Plaza in front of the Museum. Last train departs at 12:45pm.
$5 for member rider | $6 for non-member rider
Tickets can be purchased at the Museum Front Desk. Museum admission is not required.

Yes, our caboose can fit one wheelchair or mobility scooter in compliance with the guideline standards (dimensions/clearance) for wheelchair accessibility.

Drinks are allowed on the train, but please no food, no smoking, no vaping, and no pets. Service animals are permitted within the park but are not allowed on the ride itself.
Strollers cannot be taken on the train. There is stroller parking outside of the Branch House patio.
Please limit large bags so we can accommodate all passengers.
Turtle Bay is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

The Turtle Express departs from Domke Plaza, located outside the entrance of the museum and right next to the Branch House Riverfront Bistro patio. Convenient parking is available in the main Turtle Bay parking lot.

The train ride is approximately 11 minutes long and features a narrated experience to accompany your journey across the iconic Sundial Bridge, the Sulphur Creek Bridge, and trails through the beautiful Arboretum Loop.
Please be prepared for a possible wait time of 15-30 minutes to board the train, depending on number of passengers.
