North State Giving Tuesday
North State Giving Tuesday
North State Giving Tuesday is a 14 hour online giving day created by Shasta Regional Community Foundation to build philanthropy and celebrate the nonprofits in Shasta and Siskiyou counties that make our region a great place to live.
Any individual or business may donate. All donations must be made via the North State Giving Tuesday website where they will be boosted by an Incentive Pool. All donations are tax deductible and irrevocable (donations will not be refunded) and are for the unrestricted use of your chosen charity.
Our CEO, Mike Warren, has agreed that if we reach at least $12,000 in donations on Giving Tuesday, he will wear the "Buddy The Elf" costume that we bought for him, and greet people on Saturday, December 2nd at the Museum front door as our "C-Elf-O!" We can't wait to share those photos and videos on social media... so please help us make that goal!
Please note that while you've selected a particular charity, your card will be processed through Shasta Regional Community Foundation. Therefore, your credit card statement will read: SRCF GIVING TUESDAY *NOTE: If you have a fund at Shasta Regional Community Foundation, you may make a grant through your fund. Please contact the Community Foundation staff for more details.
The minimum donation is $10 with the maximum being $100,000. Donors are encouraged to make gifts to multiple organizations of their choice.
The total funds raised by an organization will be calculated against the total donations received for the day to determine a percentage. This same percentage will then be applied to the amount available in the incentive pool and the organization will be awarded the additional amount to boost their overall contributions.
