Discount Day at Turtle Bay, presented by
Redding Electric Utility

We are excited to continue our partnership with Redding Electric Utility (REU) to bring access programs to Turtle Bay Exploration Park. REU has supported our mission of inspiring wonder, exploration, and appreciation of our world. Through weekly year-round discount days, Shasta County families and residents may access the Park at a discounted rate.

Beginning Thursday, January 12, 2023, we will provide reduced Park admission every Thursday: $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors. Discount Day is a wonderful opportunity to experience current Museum exhibitions, outdoor playgrounds, live animal shows, wildlife exhibits, botanical Gardens, Parrot Playhouse, and more. 

REU formerly sponsored Turtle Bay’s Five and Dime Discount Days, reducing admission on the 5th and 10th of every month. The new access program, Discount Day, will provide an increased number of discounted admission days, as well as a weekly consistency for visitors.

On Thursdays, guests can explore traveling and permanent Museum exhibitions, observe our animals up-close in Wildlife Woods, and reach new heights at our Forest Adventure Playground. The opportunities are endless for visitors from near and far.

Discount Day is a reflection of Turtle Bay’s mission to inspire wonder, exploration, and appreciation of our world.
