Earth Science Day

Grades 4-8

Friday, October 14, 2016, 9 a.m. - noon 

Join us as we celebrate Earth Science Week with a fun, hands-on program that shows off the diversity of fossils, gems, and minerals found in the north state.  Students will get a chance to uncover fossils in our dig box, identify different rocks and minerals, and talk to local hobbyists. Meet amateur paleontologist, Mike Higley, and see his incredible collection of fossils found in the local area. Don't miss the opportunity to reinforce your earth science curriculum!  


Earth Day

 Grades K-8

 Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – Noon

Join Turtle Bay for Earth Day 2017! Students and families will have the opportunity to visit Turtle Bay Exploration Park and participate in a variety of fun, earth-focused activities and stations. Learn all about energy conservation, alternative energy sources and how you can help to keep Earth green!



State Content Standards for each grade level will be reinforced and supported in the delivery of all programs.  We strive to take students beyond the standards, knowing that life far exceeds the reach of these important benchmarks.
